I am Sharon C. Jenkins—an educator, author, researcher, and strategic communicator whose life’s work sits at the intersection of storytelling, leadership, faith, and impact. For more than four decades, I have helped individuals, organizations, and communities find their voice, clarify their message, and communicate with purpose across generations and platforms.

My professional journey began in education, where I served as a teacher and adjunct professor across secondary schools, community colleges, and universities. Teaching business communications, accounting, computer literacy, and online education allowed me to bridge gaps—between technology and access, theory and practice, and potential and performance. At the heart of my teaching philosophy is a belief that communication is not merely a skill, but a tool for empowerment, mobility, and transformation.

That belief continues to guide my current doctoral research in Strategic Communications at Regent University, where my scholarly focus centers on intergenerational communication and the emerging role of Generative AI. I am particularly interested in how technology can either widen or heal communication divides, and how ethical, human-centered storytelling can foster connection, understanding, and belonging in an AI-shaped world.

Alongside academia, I am a prolific author and publishing professional with more than twenty published works spanning inspirational nonfiction, faith-based literature, self-help, and fiction. My books—including Divine Ink, Authorpreneurship, The Untold Love Story, and The Lost Queen—reflect a consistent throughline: stories heal, stories teach, and stories build legacy. As the founder and Chief Literary Midwife of The Literary Midwife Unlimited, LLC, I coach, edit, and guide authors through the full writing and self-publishing process—helping them birth purpose-driven books while understanding both the craft and the calling behind authorship.

My leadership experience extends into nonprofit development, media, and community history. I have served as Executive Director of a grassroots reentry organization, Historical Chair for the Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce, and Editor for a major digital publication. Across these roles, my focus has remained consistent: building sustainable systems, elevating underrepresented voices, and using storytelling as a vehicle for education, advocacy, and legacy.

I am also a frequent speaker, workshop leader, and conference visionary, known for translating complex ideas into practical insight—whether teaching authors how to build sustainable platforms, helping organizations clarify their narrative, or encouraging audiences to embrace purpose-driven communication.

At every stage of my journey, one truth remains constant: communication shapes culture, and stories—when told with intention—have the power to transform lives, organizations, and generations. My work is my witness, my scholarship is my service, and my legacy is rooted in helping others communicate with clarity, courage, and conviction.
